The film tells about an Egyptian combatant Ibrahim Hamdi (Omar El Sherif) who’s cousin was killed during a demonstration by the police in the period before the revolution , he decides to take revenge by killing the traitor pro-British Prime Minister, but he gets arrested after killing the minister and tortured until he enters a hospital, but he take advantage of Eftar in the month of Ramadan to escape and go to the house of his collage colleague Mohie Zaher (Hassan Youssef), who has no political activity, and he lives for a while in the house with his father, Zahir (Hussein Riyad) ,Nawal (Zubaida Tharwat) sister of Mohie falls in love with him ,but he decides to travel abroad to escape, but when he knows about the arrest of Mohie and his cousin, Abd El Hamid (Rushdi Abaza), he decides to destroy the British camp in Abbasia but he gets killed during the explosion, then Mohi and Abdul Hamid get out from prison afterwards they and Nawal decide to join the group that resist the British occupation with Ibrahim Hamdi’s colleagues.
