Since his childhood, he started learning playing Oud from his father's friend. When he grew up, he studied Arabic music and graduated with excellence.
In 1988, he entered a music competition where he came first in it. He released a song in an album containing various artists, and that was his start, as after that he released his first album and was a great success in the Arab world. He released several albums, which came at top in markets, and participated in many festivals.
