He is one the most successful young singers, he presents both Tarab and youthful songs , he is capable of singing several dialects like gulf accent in addition to the Lebanese and Egyptian accents , Khaled Selim received the title of " first singer of Cairo University ", in the years 97/98/99, he also got the title of "the first young singer of Universities of Egypt in 1999, "he wad also been honored as the best rising voice in 2000 in a ceremony of "Nogom 2000 "in the Nile Variety channel, as well as performing in concerts on the theater of the opera house in Cairo and Alexandria on regular basis.
Private life
He has two older brothers and one younger sister , lived in Kuwait until he finished high school, but during the period of his life he spent summer vacation with his family every year in Egypt.
The beginning of his talent
Since he was young he listened to all kinds of music with his parents, and he was attracted to all kinds of songs both old ( Um Kulthum , Mohammed Abdel Wahab , Abdel Halim Hafez , Warda and others), and songs from Gulf area, Lebanese, Iranian , Indian and Western " foreign songs ", and the first instrument he played was the harmonica where he played his favorite songs based on the sense of hearing and guessing the correct tone, and that was the time in which his father noticed his talent and brought him a keyboard, and this really helped developing his artistic talent.
