Egyptian singing star Sherine has expressed that she is for the idea of not trying the overthrown president Hosny Mubarak, saying it will be merciful not to try him due to his old age.
Sherine, however, stressed that Egyptian people need to see Justice enacted after the killing of many martyrs during the events of the Egyptian Revolution.
She, therefore, pointed that the sons of Ex-president have to be tried and if found guilty they have to have the suitable penalty.
During being interviewed at (Super Star) program, she said she was extremely sad when she saw Mubarak into the cage, stressing that Egyptian people can't be gloating the ex-president in this state of weakness.
While expressing so, she said that the idea that Mubarak was in the knowing of the volume of corruption in Egypt can't be believed, opining that even if he was so, it would be a bigger crisis.
She has also denied that she was forced to sing before the Ex-president, saying she was singing while he was sick.
At the same time, she continued, he was then the president of the country and its symbol, and if she rejected to sing then, she would be assassinated or prisoned as there were not any freedoms or democracy in the country to allow her express such rejection.
