In front of a large crowd of fans in Beirut, artist Majed Al-Muhandess inaugurated his 2010 summer concerts on last July 17th. Al-Muhandess sang the finale for the concert organized by Lebanese producer Adel Maatouq. Nawal Al-Zoghbi went first, followed by Fadl Shaker, and finally Al-Muhandess sang some of his most important old and new songs up till the morning.
Al-Muhandess was over the moon after the concert due to the large numbers of fans. "It's one of my best concerts ever. The fans were amazing, and it's a very good start for the summer concerts which we look forward to every year," Al-Muhandess said right after the concert.
On another note, Rotana Audiovisuals has released a special album bringing together Al-Muhandess and Rashed Al-Majed in two duets that were recorded in one of Wanasa's channel musical sitting. The first is entitled (Ya Sabi Ainy), written by Sakhr and composed by Ahmad El-Haramy and the second is a folk song entitled (Baad Ma Rabbak Antak). Both songs testify to the immense talents of both artists and to their harmony. Al-Muhandess, as usual, excelled with his sensitive voice that blended perfectly with the lovely lyrics.
Al-Muhandess's next stop is July 29th at Salalah, Zafar, Oman to perform in a concert held as part of Salalah Annual Festival. This is Al-Muhandess's second time to perform at Salalah after his concert on Al-Murouj Theater in 2007.
