Abdel Fattah El Gerini said he’s not after a new look that would affect his trademark afro hairstyle, or even wear short hair.

The Moroccan singer says a duet with Cheb Mami, of whom he is a fan, is underway,Gerini’s latest album, Ayesh Hayato Living it Up was recently released, featuring lyrics in Moroccan and Egyptian dialects.

The 12 track album is a collaboration with a pan-Arab crew of lyricists, composers, songwriters and arrangers, including Nader Abdallah, Ayman Bahgat Qamar, Tamir Hussein, Mohamed El Ghoneimi, Walid Saad, Amr Mostafa, Mahmoud El Kheyami, Mounir El Gazaeri, Ahmed Abu Zeid, Fahd, Essam Al Shariti, Amir Mahrous and Oussama El Hindi.
